It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of our company owner and great friend, Kevin Long on August 9th, 2020 following a long and difficult battle with deteriorating health issues.

Kevin's career in AV can be traced back to the mid '80s when he was with the sales team at Eastern Video in Billerica. In 1989 he moved over to Great Northern Video in Concord NH where his many clients came to appreciate his integrity, his research on behalf of his customers, his justifications for choosing the right product for a particular job, his warm friendship and full bodied laughter. Many of our customers talk of long phone conversations with Kevin, some late at night, discussing everything from equipment, politics, world affairs and of course, dogs.

Kevin began Access A/V in 2005 at our former location on Terrill Park Rd. From those humble beginnings with 3 employees we have now grown through the years to our current larger offices and showroom on Integra Drive and our current staff of ten. Kevin drew great pride that a few years ago we were named one of the Top Ten U.S. AV Systems Integrators, out-selling companies with hundreds of employees.

Kevin, Johanne and Belle have been living in North Carolina for the past few years where he found pleasure in "flipping houses" after turning over the day to day operations of the business to the staff a little over four years ago. Access A/V is having a great year despite the strange times we all live in and we will continue to serve our customers with the same service and care that we have all learned under Kevin's guidance. He leaves behind a strong reputation in the New England AV market and in our hearts. He was truly one of the good guys.
